Disciples of the Plains Lutheran Ministry is a shared ministry parish consisting of American Lutheran Church in Smith Center, St. John Lutheran Church in Kensington, Zion Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg, and Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stuttgart. 

While each congregation in the parish has its own ministry and worship life, the four congregations pool resources in calling pastoral leadership and other areas that affect the parish as a whole.

Disciples of the Plains and its member congregations are ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Central States Synod of the ELCA.
